With broken hearts and endless love, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Nellie Hannibal, who left this world peacefully on May 29, 2025, at the age of 74.

Born in Fresno, California, Nellie lived a life filled with deep compassion, quiet strength, and fierce love. She was the heart and soul of our family — the one who held us together through every joy and every storm. Her presence brought warmth, her laughter brought light, and her love was a constant we could always count on.

She is survived by her children: Paul Hannibal, Jatania Loya, Jamela Hannibal, and Pamela Hannibal; and by her grandchildren: Veronica, Denise, Priscilla, Joaquin, Julie, Desiree, Brianna, Matthew, Anthony, Jacob, Paulie, Theresa, Isabella, Alfonso jr, Deandra, Mila, Gianna and Sebastian. each of whom she loved unconditionally. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life, and she carried their love in everything she did.

Nellie also had a deep and tender love for her animals especially her cherished birds and dogs, who brought her so much happiness and comfort. They were her companions, her peace, and a source of constant joy.

Beyond her family, Nellie was a true and loyal friend to many. She had a rare gift for making people feel seen, heard, and loved. Whether through laughter, long talks, or small acts of kindness, she left a mark on every heart she touched.

Her legacy is one of devotion, to her family, her pets, her friends, and to love itself. She taught us how to care for others deeply, to laugh even when life gets hard, and to give love without holding back.

A service to celebrate Nellie’s life will be held. All who knew her, loved her, and were touched by her gentle soul are welcome to come together to remember, to honor, and to say goodbye to the beautiful woman she was — and always will be in our hearts.

Con el corazón roto y un amor eterno, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida madre, abuela y amiga, Nellie Hannibal, quien partió de este mundo en paz el 29 de mayo de 2025, a la edad de 74 años.

Nacida en Fresno, California, Nellie vivió una vida llena de profunda compasión, fuerza silenciosa y un amor inquebrantable. Ella fue el corazón y el alma de nuestra familia — quien nos mantuvo unidos en cada alegría y cada tormenta. Su presencia brindaba calidez, su risa traía luz, y su amor era una constante en la que siempre podíamos confiar.

Le sobreviven sus hijos: Paul Hannibal, Jatania Loya, Jamela Hannibal y Pamela Hannibal; y sus nietos: Verónica, Denise, Priscilla, Joaquín, Julie, Desiree, Brianna, Matthew, Anthony, Jacob, Paulie, Theresa, Isabella, Alfonso Jr., Deandra, Mila, Gianna y Sebastian, a quienes amó incondicionalmente. Sus nietos fueron la alegría de su vida, y ella llevaba su amor en todo lo que hacía.

Nellie también tenía un profundo y tierno amor por sus animales, especialmente sus adoradas aves y perros, quienes le brindaban tanta felicidad y consuelo. Fueron sus compañeros, su paz y una fuente constante de alegría.

Se celebrará un servicio en honor a la vida de Nellie. Todos quienes la conocieron, la amaron y fueron tocados por su alma bondadosa están invitados a reunirse para recordarla, honrarla y despedirse de la hermosa mujer que fue — y que siempre será en nuestros corazones.
