Con profunda tristeza, la familia Corte Sánchez anuncia el fallecimiento de Paula Sánchez, ocurrido el lunes 20 de octubre de 2025, aproximadamente a las 4:30 p.m. En sus últimos momentos, estuvo rodeada del amor de sus seres queridos.

Nacida el 7 de junio de 1937, Paula vivió una vida llena de fe en Dios. Sus últimos respiros fueron después de haber recibido la bendición del Señor a través del sacerdote. Agradecemos a Dios por su larga vida, llena de salud y fortaleza. La manera en que Dios la llamó a su presencia fue perfecta y un gran regalo: un suspiro, cerró los ojos y despertó más allá del sol, en su nuevo hogar junto a Él.

Fue una buena madre, abuela, bisabuela, esposa, hermana, tía, suegra y amiga. Siempre sonriente, amable y con un gran corazón. Era evidente el inmenso amor que sentía por sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos. A la vez, era una abuelita consentidora, que hablaba con ternura y cariño, como solo una abuelita puede hacerlo. Sus nietos recuerdan sus palabras llenas de amor, sus sabios consejos y, por supuesto, sus regaños oportunos.

Sus pláticas, enseñanzas, abrazos, atenciones, generosidad y bondad dejan una huella imborrable en todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

En 1954, Paula se casó con Hilario Corte. Juntos tuvieron ocho hijos y compartieron su vida hasta 1991, año en que él falleció.

Hasta sus últimos días, Paula fue una mujer fuerte, trabajadora, luchadora e independiente. Siempre hablaba de regresar a su pueblo, seguir trabajando y ser libre. Estamos seguros de que, en el momento de su partida, Dios le concedió cumplir esos sueños. Sabemos que ahora es libre y profundamente feliz, caminando más allá del sol junto a sus queridas hijas Lupe y Celza, y su nieta Ino.

Aunque sabemos que está descansando, libre y en paz, su partida deja un vacío inmenso. Sin embargo, su recuerdo y su espíritu vivirán eternamente en los corazones de quienes la amamos.

Le sobreviven una hija, cinco hijos, diecisiete nietos y catorce bisnietos.

With deep sadness, the Corte Sánchez family announces the passing of Paula Sánchez, on Monday, October 20, 2025, at approximately 4:30 p.m. In her final moments, she was surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on June 7, 1937, Paula lived a life full of faith in God. Her final breaths came after receiving God’s blessing through the priest. We are grateful to God for her long life, filled with health and strength. The way in which God called her into His presence was perfect and a true gift — a sigh, she closed her eyes, and awoke beyond the sun, in her new home with God.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, and friend. Always smiling, kind, and with a big heart, she radiated love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a loving and caring grandmother, speaking to her grandchildren with tenderness only a grandmother can give. Her grandchildren remember her kind and loving words — and, of course, her timely scoldings and wise advice.

Her conversations, teachings, hugs, care, generosity, and kindness leave an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In 1954, Paula married Hilario Corte. Together, they had eight children and shared their lives until 1991, when Hilario passed away.

Until her final days, Paula was a strong, hardworking, and independent woman. She often spoke about returning to her hometown, continuing to work, and being free. We are certain that at the moment of her passing, God was granting her the opportunity to fulfill those dreams. We know that she is now free and profoundly happy, walking beyond the sun alongside her beloved daughters Lupe and Celza, and her granddaughter Ino.

Although we know she is resting, free, and at peace, her departure leaves an immense void. Yet her memory and spirit will live forever in the hearts of those who love her.

She is survived by one daughter, five sons, seventeen grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
